Marathon Electric Supports Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing pink. More than 50 employees at the Wausau facility were decked in every shade of pink to show their support for the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Research Fund. |

Our facility in Wausau, Wisconsin is situated along some of the most beautiful waterfront property in the area, offering nearly 3,000 feet of river frontage. Marathon Electric is currently working with the city to give them an easement to develop a river walk along the water’s edge as part of the City of Wausau’s 50-year plan to develop a comprehensive walking path. The company has recently finished its part of the walking path with river overview benches and a table for employees to gather. The City of Wausau plans to further develop the path within the next few years and to encourage other businesses along the river’s edge to follow the example of Marathon Electric. |

Lean Implementation Update. This year, Marathon Electric has made tremendous progress in modernizing its facility to maximize efficiency. Both our manufacturing shop and our office have utilized Lean concepts like visual controls and the discipline of 5S (Sort, Straighten, Standardize, Sweep and Sustain). These initiatives will enable us to deliver more value to our customers for many years to come. |
